Luis Severino with a strong start

Luis Severino allowed one run on four hits in seven innings against the Red Sox on Saturday. Severino struck out six batters and walked two, pitching seven innings for the third time in four starts. He has a 3.40 ERA this season and will face the Mariners in Seattle on July 20.

Fantasy Impact:

Severino is now fifth in the American League with 130 strikeouts in 113 1/3 innings and his 1.10 WHIP is also fifth in the league. While striking out at least five batters in each of his last 11 starts, he has walked more than two batters only twice in that time span. Severino only has faced three Mariners batters and is 2-1 with a 3.02 ERA on the road this season.
