Ian Desmond returns from DL and drives in two runs Sunday

Ian Desmond was activated from the 10-day disabled list prior to Sunday's game against the New York Mets. He went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, two RBIs, and a run scored in the 13-4 victory.
Fantasy Impact:
Desmond had been sidelined for pretty much all of July, as he has battled some injuries and inconsistency this season. He has a high ceiling for the second half and offers a combination of power and speed that can help fantasy owners down the stretch. He will need to prove that he can stay healthy and that he can rediscover his power stroke, which has been somewhat lacking in 2017.
