Ryan Madson traded to Nationals

Ryan Madson along with bullpen mate Sean Doolittle were acquired from the A's in exchange for RHP Blake Treinen, LHP Jesus Luzardo and 3B Sheldon Neuse. (Ken Rosenthal on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Madson has had a stellar season for the A's, bringing a 2.06 ERA and 39 strikeouts over 39 1/3 innings to the dismal Nationals' bullpen. The closer role appears to be a committee to start with although with Madson's more impressive season thus far and being right handed, he figures to have the lion's share. Fantasy owners should monitor the situation closely but it wouldn't hurt to speculate on picking up Madson if he's sitting on your waiver wire.
