Michael Clevinger pitches well against Giants

by Matthew Adam | White Sox Correspondent | Wed, Jul 19th 8:04am EDT

Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Michael Clevinger continued his excellent pitching on Tuesday night. The right-hander held the San Francisco Giants to one run over six innings while striking out seven and walking two. He took a no-decision as the Indians went on to lose 2-1 in 10 innings.

Fantasy Impact:

Clevinger has been a pleasant surprise both for the Indians and his fantasy owners this season. The 26-year-old has posted a 5-3 record, 2.73 ERA, and 73 strikeouts over 66 innings of work. He should be owned as a back-end fantasy starting pitcher in all leagues at this point.
