Jacob deGrom wins seventh straight start

Jacob deGrom won his seventh straight start as the Mets defeated the Cardinals 7-3 on Wednesday night. deGrom went 6 2/3 innings allowing seven hits, one walk and just one earned run, while striking out three. After 125 2/3 IP on the season, deGrom now has a 3.37 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and an excellent 144/40 K:BB ratio.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite a couple of poor starts in late May/early June, deGrom has regained his status as the Mets' ace and a bona fide fantasy SP1, particularly in a season in which pitchers have been brutalized. He should remain active in all fantasy formats.
