Sonny Gray allowed a pair of runs on seven hits while striking out six across 6 1/3 innings in Wednesday's win over the Rays.
Fantasy Impact:
If the A's were hoping to get some valuable pieces in return for Gray, he's certainly helped them by delivering three straight wins and four in his last five starts, all of which were quality starts. He was good in this one despite issuing a pair of walks and surrendering a pair of runs in the fourth inning, able still to improve his record to 6-4 with the effort while lowering his ERA to 3.66 to go along with a 1.18 WHIP and 85 strikeouts in 91 innings.
