Jason Hammel with another mediocre start Wednesday

Jason Hammel went 6 1/3 innings Wednesday against the Tigers. He struck out two and walked one to go along with scattering four hits. He only allowed one run but could not pick up the win, as the Royals won in some late inning drama.
Fantasy Impact:
Hammel continues to have a resurgent second half, but his lack of Ks and ability to regularly go deep into games hurts his fantasy value. He now has a 4.81 ERA and an ugly 1.43 WHIP to go with 83 Ks in 106 2/3 innings.
