Zack Wheeler placed on disabled list with 'stress reaction' in arm

The Mets placed Zack Wheeler on the 10-day disabled list on Monday with a "stress reaction" in his right arm. The team recalled Tyler Pill from Triple-A to take Wheeler's spot on the roster. (Marc Carig on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Wheeler had been hit hard the last two starts, and it's fair to assume that the injury was the underlying cause. Already at 86 1/3 innings pitched, Wheeler, who was expected to have an innings cap this year, won't offer much to fantasy owners for the rest of the season, regardless of when he comes back. There's no reason to own Wheeler at this point.
