Eric Thames clubbed his 24th home run of the season on Tuesday off Nationals' starter Edwin Jackson in the fourth inning of the Brewers' 8-0 win. The home run was Thames lone hit in four at-bats.
Fantasy Impact:
Thames is quietly putting together a good month with a .290 average and four home runs through 17 games. However, he is still striking out at an elevated rate (35.7%) similar to his 37.1% strikeout rate in June. Now might be a good time to sell the 30-year-old slugger while his surface numbers are good.
