Luis Severino allowed two runs (none earned) on three hits in seven innings against the Reds on Wednesday. Severino walked two and struck out nine in his fourth consecutive quality start. He has a 3.03 ERA and 1.09 WHIP this season and will face the Tigers in New York on July 31.

Fantasy Impact:

Severino has now pitched seven innings in each of his last four starts and has a 2.70 ERA in July. He has struck out at least five batters in 13 consecutive starts and has 145 strikeouts and just 32 walks in 127 2/3 innings this season. Current Tigers only have 28 at-bats against Severino, with Alex Avila going 2-for-2 with a double and RBI, and the 23-year-old is 4-3 with a 3.41 ERA at home this season.
