Ricky Nolasco provides solid outing, yet the Tribe came out on top

by Zahjyee Whineglass | Thu, Jul 27th 1:19am EDT

Ricky Nolasco spun 6.2 innings, allowing nine hits and two walks to total three earned runs. He managed to fan four while picking up his 12th loss.

Fantasy Impact:

The Angels rotation is far from great, so this outing from the veteran should come with a a warm welcome. However, the Angels' bats failed to supply much run support and Nolasco was hit with yet another L. His season-long numbers are ugly (5.13 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, 4-11) but he can provide a great DFP start every now and then. He dealt a complete game three-hitter against the Mariners July 1st, so he could help players come up big before the season's end.
