Norichika Aoki is being sent from the Houston Astros to the Toronto Blue Jays along with a minor league player in the recently-completed trade that sent Francisco Liriano from the Blue Jays to the Astros, according to Brian McTaggart of MLB.com (Brian McTaggart on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Aoki is a strange somewhat strange return for Toronto, but the real winners in this deal are Derek Fisher owners, as this move should open up some regular playing time for him down the stretch. Aoki is worth adding only in AL-only formats, and even then he is more a streaming option who could offer some stolen bases and a decent batting average.
