Doug Fister (1-5) allowed two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five batters through 7 2/3 innings during Monday's win over Cleveland.
Fantasy Impact:
This was a surprising outing for Fister who has struggled this year. Fantasy owners do not need to bother picking up the 33-year-old righty as he still has a 6.27 ERA and 1.64 WHIP after this strong start. Fister does have a favorable matchup against the White Sox at Fenway Park in his next start.
