Brandon Belt clobbers his 18th long ball

Giants first baseman Brandon Belt went 2-for-4 with a double, a two-run homer, a walk and two runs scored Thursday vs. the A's.
Fantasy Impact:
Belt's second-inning homer was his 18th of the year, matching his personal best from two years ago. After managing just one home run in July, he already has two in August as he closes in on his first 20-homer season. The added power has come with a price, as his .242 average would be his lowest since he hit .225 as a rookie in 2011.
