Ian Kennedy hit hard against the Cardinals

Ian Kennedy allowed seven runs (six earned) over six innings in a loss to the Cardinals on Monday. He gave up six hits and walked four while striking out five.
Fantasy Impact:
Kennedy's WHIP (1.23) and strikeout rate (97 in 113 2/3 innings) are generally helpful to fantasy owners, but his bloated 4.83 ERA and four wins greatly outweigh any minimal benefit he provides. While he's nothing more than a streaming option, he does take on the punchless White Sox in his next start, so can be used if you're desperate.
