Fantasy Impact:
Although the Mets couldn't work out a trade for Bruce by the non-waiver trade deadline, the right-fielder cleared waivers and was eligible to be traded to any team. With Michael Brantley hitting the disabled list with a sprained right ankle, the Indians needed an everyday outfielder, and Bruce obviously fits the bill. Bruce was already up to 29 home runs and 75 RBIs, and should flourish batting in the middle of a potent Indians lineup.
