Aroldis Chapman walks tight rope

by Chris Zolli | Pirates Correspondent | Sat, Aug 12th 7:18am EDT

Aroldis Chapman earned a save on Friday, but it was not pretty. Chapman allowed a run on three walks, aided by Aaron Hicks' double play in the Yankees' 5-4 win. He has a 3.06 ERA and 1.30 WHIP this season.

Fantasy Impact:

Chapman had not walked a batter in six consecutive outings, allowing just three baserunners, but nearly blew the game on Friday. He earned his 15th save in 18 attempts and has now had two bumpy outings in August, needing 21 pitches to earn a save against the Indians on August 5. The Yankees need to get Chapman more work or he will continue to struggle.
