Cleveland Indians reliever Joe Smith pitched a scoreless eighth inning against the Rays on Saturday, earning his 15th hold of the season. Smith struck out two and did not allow a hit in the frame as the Indians went on to win 3-0.

Smith hasn't allowed a run in four appearances since being acquired by the Indians at the trade deadline. On the year, he has a 2.90 ERA, 15 holds, and 56 strikeouts. He should continue to serve as Cleveland's setup man while Andrew Miller is on the DL.
