Padres third baseman Cory Spangenberg went 3-for-3 with a solo homer, three runs scored, a walk and a stolen base on Monday against the Phillies.
Fantasy Impact:
Spangenberg’s 11th homer, seventh steal and third three-hit game of 2017 would pace San Diego’s victorious efforts. The versatile 26-year-old has posted a .760 OPS alongside his modest speed contributions through 346 plate appearances this season. Most of his fantasy appeal comes from multi-positional eligibility and the ability to not hurt any scoring category, though he won’t lead any either.
