Cole Hamels gets big run support for eighth win

Cole Hamels (8-1) didn't have his best stuff on Wednesday allowing four runs on eight hits with five walks and four strikeouts. However, he was supported by 12 runs in a 12-6 win over the Tigers, allowing him to pick up his eighth victory of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Hamels has a solid 3.48 ERA this season with eight wins but his peripheral numbers don't support his current production. He checks in with a 4.74 xFIP and is allowing just a .236 BABIP which both would indicate that some regression could occur over the rest of the season. Now might be a good time to deal the 33-year-old lefty.
