Edwin Jackson (4-2) picked up the win with a strong performance Thursday, holding the Padres to one earned run over seven innings. He struck out four batters while issuing one walk and scattering eight hits.
Fantasy Impact:
Jackson has fared well since joining the National's rotation. Over eight starts the 33-year-old righty has four wins, 3.20 ERA and 30 strikeouts over 39 1/3 innings. There will be some regression but Jackson should be ownable in deeper fantasy leagues.
