Jordan Zimmermann gives up seven runs for third straight start
by Brad Richter | Thu, Aug 24th 6:44am EDT
Jordan Zimmermann (7-11) allowed seven runs on nine hits including two home runs during the Tigers' 10-2 loss to the Yankees on Wednesday. Zimmermann did not record a strikeout and walked one in his five innings of work.
Fantasy Impact:
Seven has been an unlucky number for Zimmermann lately as he has now allowed seven runs in three straight starts. With a 6.11 ERA and 1.54 WHIP for the season, Zimmermann should be nowhere near a fantasy lineup right now. His next start is scheduled for next Monday against the Rockies at Coors Field.
