Ian Desmond collects hit, steal in second game off DL

Ian Desmond, who was activated from the DL on Monday, went 1-for-3 with a single, walk and a stolen base during the Rockies' 7-3 victory over the Tigers on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Desmond has collected three hits over his first two games since returning from a month-long absence due to a calf injury. The stolen base on Tuesday was his 11th of the season and is a good sign that the calf is fully healed. Desmond will be used at a variety of position over the remainder of the year as he looks to salvage his season for fantasy owners that held onto him.
