Justin Verlander traded to Astros

The Astros have acquired RHP Justin Verlander from the Tigers in exchange for three of their top 11 prospects. (Detroit News)
Fantasy Impact:
The move was made a the August 31 deadline, so Verlander will be able to pitch in the postseason for the Astros. More important for fantasy owners, Verlander will now have the support of the vaunted Astros' offense. The veteran has been awesome in the second half after a shaky stretch prior to the All-Star break and sees a boost in value considering his new team is one of the best in baseball.
