Sonny Gray allowed four runs on five hits in seven innings against the Red Sox on Friday. Gray struck out nine and walked one, snapping his 11 game streak of two earned runs or less allowed. He has a 3.36 ERA this season and will face the Orioles in Baltimore on September 6.

Fantasy Impact:

While Gray did not get the win on Friday, he now has 18 strikeouts over his last two starts (14 innings) after not striking out a batter in five innings against the Red Sox on August 20. Gray has had some walk issues, multiple walks in eight of his last 10 starts, but has a .222 batting average against and 1.16 WHIP. Current Orioles have a .769 OPS in 77 at-bats against Gray and he is 0-3 in road starts for the Yankees.
