Cole Hamels gets loss Wednesday night

Cole Hamels pitched six innings in his start against the Braves Wednesday, allowing six hits, five runs (four earned), and two walks while recording five strikeouts. Hamels had a disastrous second inning when the five runs crossed the plate but otherwise was fairly solid. The Braves went on to win, 5-4, giving Hamels his second loss in a row and a 9-3 record on the year. He will pitch again Tuesday against Andrew Moore and the Mariners in Arlington.
