Aroldis Chapman back as closer

by Chris Zolli | Pirates Correspondent | Sun, Sep 10th 9:03am EDT

Aroldis Chapman pitched a perfect ninth inning to earn a save against the Rangers on Saturday. Chapman struck out two batters without a walk in his first save opportunity since August 15. He has a 3.92 ERA and 1.28 WHIP this season.

Fantasy Impact:

Chapman is now 17-for-21 on saves this season and has allowed just one hit in three innings this month. Dellin Betances has been scored upon in four of his last seven appearances, giving up the closer's role to Chapman. It should be a safe bet that Chapman keeps the closer's role and he should be frequently used down the stretch.
