Sonny Gray with a disappointing start

Sonny Gray allowed two runs on five hits in an eight inning complete game against the Rays on Tuesday. Gray walked one and struck out nine, losing after allowing a home run in the bottom of the 8th. He has a 3.17 ERA and 1.15 WHIP this season and will face the Orioles in New York on September 17.

Fantasy Impact:

Gray now has a quality start in five of his eight starts with the Yankees and has allowed two runs or fewer in seven of his eight starts with New York. He is now 5-6 with a 2.22 ERA in the second half, striking out 69 and walking 22 in 69 innings. Gray faced the Orioles on September 7, allowing no earned runs in 5 2/3 innings, and is 2-1 with a 3.15 ERA at Yankee Stadium this season (three starts).
