Eric Thames hits 30 home run mark

Eric Thames lifted a Tyler Glasnow pitch over the left center field wall for his 30th home run of the season during Wednesday's 8-2 victory over the Pirates. The two-run shot was Thames lone hit in three at-bats.

Fantasy Impact:

Thames has now produced at least one hit in four straight games and has gone deep in back-to-back games as the Brewers fight for a playoff spot. He will likely continue to sit against left-handed pitchers so he could be on the bench for three of the next four games with the Brewers slated to face a string of left-handed starters.
