CC Sabathia with a quality start

CC Sabathia allowed two runs on six hits in six innings against the Twins on Tuesday. Sabathia walked one and struck out five, winning his third consecutive decision. He has a 3.81 ERA this season and will face the Royals on September 25 in New York.

Sabathia has four quality starts in his last six starts and now has a 4.60 ERA and 1.53 WHIP in 15 2/3 innings this month. He is 5-2 with a 3.81 ERA in the second half, holding batters to a .247 batting average. Sabathia is 5-2 with a 4.55 ERA this season at home and he pitched six scoreless innings against the Royals on May 16.
