Kevin Gausman with a very strong outing Tuesday

Kevin Gausman fired off eight innings Tuesday, blanking the Red Sox in the process. He only allowed three hits and a walk while striking out seven. Unfortunately, Drew Pomeranz was just as good, and the Orioles lost in extras 1-0.
Fantasy Impact:
Gausman has had an outstanding second half, and this was a big start for fantasy owners who risked starting him in the fantasy playoffs. Gausman has a start against the Rays on Sunday; feel free to trot him out there. He now has a 1.71 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, and 30 Ks in 31 2/3 innings.
