Trea Turner sets Nationals single season steals record
by Brendan Tuma | Phillies Correspondent | Wed, Sep 20th 9:36am EDT
Trea Turner went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, an RBI, two runs scored, and two stolen bases as the Nationals beat the Braves on Tuesday night.
Fantasy Impact:
Turner's 42 steals on the year are a Nationals single season record. Alfonso Soriano stole 41 in 2006. Turner needed just 88 games to break the record, and will be a legitimate threat to steal 80 next year if he can remain healthy.
