Cole Hamels solid over eight, gets win Thursday night

Cole Hamels was outstanding over eight innings Thursday night, allowing three hits, one run (earned), and two walks while recording eight strikeouts against the Mariners in the Rangers' 4-2 victory in Seattle. With the win, Hamels' record improves to 11-4 on the season. He will pitch again Tuesday against Dallas Keuchel and the Astros in Arlington.
Fantasy Impact:
Hamels has proven that he still has a lot to offer with the results he has earned this year. He's under contract with the Rangers next year, no reason to believe the success will end now.
