Nelson Cruz finished the night 1-for-3 with a solo homer and a walk in Seattle's 4-2 loss to the Rangers on Thursday.

The homer pushed Cruz' American League leading RBI total to 112, seven better than Jonathan Schoop's 105. It was his second long ball in as many games. In his last 17 games, the veteran designated hitter is batting a phenomenal .317/.431/.550 with four home runs, nine RBIs and 13 runs scored. Fantasy owners of Cruz can be none other than pleased with the multiple category contributions (.286 AVG, 35 HR, 84 R) he has provided them throughout the 2017 campaign.
