Rafael Devers crushes three-run homer on Friday night

by Robert Kaszanek | Red Sox Correspondent | Fri, Sep 22nd 9:53pm EDT

Rafael Devers went 2-for-4 on Friday night in a close 5-4 victory over the Reds. He delivered a three-run home run and a double.

Fantasy Impact:

Devers' started off Friday night scorching hot as he doubled in his first at-bat, but made a careless error, and took his foot off the bag and was tagged out. In his next at-bat he crushed a three-run homer to right field to give the Red Sox the lead for good at 5-4. It was Devers' ninth home run of the year and his first since August 19th. With the fantasy season coming to a close Devers isn't a must start, but he can still provide some depth on the bench when a starter has the day off.
