Batting eighth in the lineup, Lagares finished 2-for-4 with his two hits and one run scored. He also had those two strikeouts.
Fantasy Impact:
It was a tough matchup with ace Max Scherzer on the mound for the Washington Nationals, but Lagares was good enough to scrape those two hits. Unfortunately, he's still in a big slump, hitting only .100 in the past seven days. He'll likely continue to start for the New York Mets with one week left in the regular season.
