Brandon Woodruff gives up six runs in loss

by Brad Richter | Brewers Correspondent | Thu, Sep 28th 6:53am EDT

Brandon Woodruff (2-3) couldn't make it out of the third inning on Wednesday giving up six runs in 2 1/3 innings on six hits to the Reds. He walked one and gave up two home runs without recording a strikeout in the 6-0 loss.

Fantasy Impact:

Woodruff concludes the season with a 4.81 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and a 6.7 K/9 rate in eight starts. He filled in admirably for the injured Brewers' pitching staff down the stretch and will be considered for a spot in the rotation next season.
