Jason Hammel threw six innings Wednesday against the Tigers, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks. He struck out six. The Royals won in a battle of the bullpens in the late innings.
Fantasy Impact:
Hammel had a much better second half than first half, which is unlike him based on his historical patterns. He finishes the season with an 8-13 record, 5.29 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, and 145 Ks in 180 1/3 innings. You're probably not drafting Hammel in 2018.
