Washington Nationals ace Max Scherzer (hamstring) played catch on Tuesday and was "really letting it go" according to Chelsea Janes o f the Washington Post. (Chelsea Janes on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This is certainly good news for the Nationals. While his MRI showed a minor hamstring tweak, it appears Scherzer is on track to pitch in the NLDS against the Chicago Cubs. However, Washington may pitch Stephen Strasburg in game one to give Scherzer some extra rest.
