Jon Gray records just four outs in NL Wild Card game

by Brendan Tuma | Rangers Correspondent | Thu, Oct 5th 9:07am EDT

Jon Gray took the loss on Wednesday night, allowing four runs on seven hits in just 1 1/3 innings. The young right-hander also struck out two and didn't walk a batter.

Fantasy Impact:

Gray allowed singles to the first two batters of the game before Paul Goldschmidt hit a three-run homer to start the scoring. Gray came back out for the second and gave up another run before exiting. It's a rough way to end the season, but the 25-year-old has a bright future ahead of him. In 110 1/3 innings this year he struck out 112 and posted a 3.67 ERA.
