Sonny Gray took the loss on Thursday night in Cleveland, allowing three runs on three hits over 3 1/3 innings.
Fantasy Impact:
Gray walked four batters and struck out just two. He gave up a fourth inning homer to Jay Bruce, which put the Indians up 3-0. Gray would have had to been near perfect to beat Trevor Bauer in this one. Game 2 of the series will be played Friday evening. CC Sabathia will take the ball for New York opposite Corey Kluber.
