Justin Verlander goes the distance in Game 2

by Brendan Tuma | Astros Correspondent | Sun, Oct 15th 10:05am EDT

Justin Verlander allowed just one run on five hits over nine dominant frames in Game 2 of the ALCS on Saturday versus the Yankees, striking out 13 and walking one en route to a 2-1 Astros win.

Fantasy Impact:

The game was tied 1-1 before Houston walked-off on an RBI double by Carlos Correa. Verlander was dominant throughout the game, just as he has been ever since getting traded to the Astros. The ALCS resumes in New York on Monday.
