J.D. Martinez seeking $200 million deal

According to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick, teams that have talked to Scott Boras about J.D. Martinez are getting the impression that he is seeking a $200 million contract this off-season. (Jerry Crasnick on Twitter)

Martinez, along with Eric Hosmer, is the top bat on the market. It makes sense for Boras to shoot for the moon when Martinez is coming off a career year. The 30-year-old outfielder hit 45 homers in just 119 games this past season. Many teams figure to bid over his services this winter.
