The San Francisco Giants are meeting with Giancarlo's Stanton representatives, according to Craig Miss of SiriusXM. (Craig Mish on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This likely means the Giants are at least close to completing a deal with the Miami Marlins. A report from Jon Morosi of MLB Network earlier in the day said that the Marlins would accept an offer of Joe Panik plus San Francisco's top two prospects (as well as the Giants taking on $250 million of the $295 million remaining on Stanton's deal). As for fantasy, Stanton would be moving from one pitcher's park to another. Either way 2017 was likely a career year. More should be known soon.
