The Cardinals have signed RHP Miles Mikolas to a two-year contract for between $14 million and $16 million, according to Ken Rosenthal. (Ken Rosenthal on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Mikolas didn't pitch well in the majors, but succeeded in Japan over the last three seasons, going 31-13 with a 2.18 ERA with the Yomiuri Giants. The Cardinals now appear to have a surplus of starting pitching, and could certainly look to deal one of their younger starters in a trade, as has been rumored.
