Fantasy Impact:
The Angels have won the Ohtani sweepstakes and will now pay a $20 million dollar posting fee for the rights to negotiate his contract. Ohtani is the first legitimate two-way player that the Majors have seen in a while. He'll have a chance at playing the outfield and batting DH while also starting in the rotation. The 23-year-old will get a chance to play alongside two-time AL MVP Mike Trout, who happens to be just 26 years old himself. It's too early to know how early Ohtani will be drafted in fantasy drafts.
