Joe Smith signs with the Astros

Fantasy Impact:
Relievers are flying off the board at the Winter Meetings, and Smith represented one of the few reliable hurlers left. Smith split last season between the Blue Jays and Indians, posting a 3.33 ERA in 59 games, striking out 71 and walking 10 in 54 innings. He should slide in as one of the primary setup men for Ken Giles, who received a vote of confidence as the closer earlier this offseason.
