Freddy Galvis traded to Padres
by Dan Harris | Fri, Dec 15th 12:30pm EST
The Padres have acquired Freddy Galvis from the Phillies in exchange for Double-A pitcher Enyel De Los Santos. (Todd Zolecki on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Galvis quietly had a decent year, reaching double digits in both home runs and steals. The move to Petco Park may put a damper on his power numbers a bit, but he should be able to find his way to more doubles and triples in the spacious outfield. De Los Santos had a 3.78 ERA in Double-A last year, and could see the Majors at some point in 2018. J.P. Crawford is likely to start at shortstop for the Phillies absent further deals.
