The Orioles have signed Andrew Cashner to a two-year deal worth $16 million, according to Jon Heyman. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Cashner had a fine ERA last year with the Rangers of just 3.40, but he saw a shocking drop in strikeout rate, with just 86 in 166 2/3 innings. It's hard to imagine him having that much success again with such a low rate, especially pitching in the AL East against tough lineups. Cashner has had some success in the past, so he's worth a flyer in AL-only leagues, but temper your expectations.
