Gregor Blanco signed to minor league contract

The Giants love to bring back departed Giants and they've done just that with Gregor Blanco. The 34-year-old has two World Series rings over his past five years with the Giants. He is a platoon option with Austin Jackson in center, and has the ability to spell all outfielders. Blanco will compete for essentially a bench spot with Stephen Duggar, Gorkys Hernandez, Jarrod Parker, Austin Slater, and Mac Williamson. Blanco is a plus defender but only hit .246 last year for Arizona. (Mercury News)
